I began my career over 20 years ago as a photographer and I am a strong believer in the power of the image. Every project has its own soul and comes with unique challenges, and capturing the beauty in every single shot while maintaining the concept is the driving force of my work.
After all these years working as a photographer, director and videographer as well as a digital colourist and image technician, I am still amazed how teamwork brings life and adds value to every project. With access to a great production network and high end equipment, I am ready to develop the next big, colourful, abstract or simply beautiful thing; whether on a team or as a solo videographer.

The Bird Spa – Short Film
A place for all feather(ed) friends …
This projects began when my friends from The Local Production Company and myself decided to participate in Straight 8, a global one-super-8-cartridge-no-editing short film competition.
We started with an idea that I already had in mind for some years. A spa for birds. A place for contemplation about the dangers of the real nature and the benefits of living in the calmness and safety of a human environment.
We worked with an amazing and talented crew, from art department, styling, make up, hair styling as well with tech crew and production. The birds themselves where all brought in from Natura Parc with special care takers and trainers. They really had a nice time in the spa if you ask me.
We did shot a Super 8 version for the contest and a digital version in parallel. Here you can see both.

Suncare
Great shooting with the tennis player and model Ana Ivanovic, for the beauty brand Shiseido. These social media videos focus on the brands Sport BB Creams and Sun Protection Creams and were shot in Majorca on a very hot summer day.
The lotions feature sun protection, water resistance and skin hydration. Each video is related to one of the features. In the first one we see Ana warming up and stretching under the powerful Mediterranean sun.

A night in Berlin.
This video was made to be displayed at the launch event of the brand’s new full product line. Following the Martinsson King’s urban roots, we chose the streets of Berlin as the perfect scenery for this fashion film, always vibrant always glamorous. The photo shoot was made by Kate Belm.

It all started when…
Video project for the Majorcan liquor brand Tragus. A typical spirit that starts strong, both taste wise and visually thanks to the great acting skills of Rhys Ifans and the co–direction of Balthazar Klarwein all shot in La Muleta, an amazing location in Tramuntana mountains.
The story of St Anthony’s temptation fits perfectly with the location and how to fall in love with this place and taste.

Documentation video of the collaboration between Berlin based artist and designer Torsten Posselt and Icelandic musician and composer Ólafur Arnalds; this audio visual full dome show premiered during the 2019 Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg. Showcased at the Planetarium Hamburg the audience could immerse themselves into a world of shapes, pattern and music following the show’s literal meaning: Ekki Hugsa – Don’t think.
